Episode XVI: On Agency and Clarity
These past two weeks of space brought my highest self into the now.
Two big realizations arrived because of it:
—
1. You can just do things.
This is a popular phrase in the tech world.
But now, it’s actually real.
Here’s why.
Anyone who knows me personally knows that I absolutely LOVE Batman.
I have since I was two years old.
My bathroom sign says: “Always be yourself unless you can be Batman; then, you should always be Batman.”
Batman was intentional, methodical, and tracked everything.
So, why not track everything?
Then, I thought: what do I want to track?
I want to track sleep, weight, energy, and habits.
The small details matter.
Since building it, I’ve averaged a 25% increase in alignment.
However, I have more to this. I want to be held accountable.
So, I built a Joker view for you to see Batman’s progress.

If you want to view it, you will.

2. Clear the clutter.
You don’t know how much clutter there is within and around you.
Limited space and beliefs cloud your potential.
From boxes and projects to thoughts and feelings, you have LOTS of clutter.
Breaking the spacing problem down requires two planes.
1. Physical.
2. Mental.
First, I asked:
Physically, how many objects do you actually have?
Mentally, which thoughts or feelings start a spiral?
Then, I asked:
Physically, which objects don’t serve you?
Mentally, what triggers them?
The physical answer can be quantified very easily. It just takes time; it took me four days.
So, I started by logging every single item I owned into a spreadsheet.
From hangers to baseball cards, they’re in a sheet.
Most of my old clothes fit a lineman’s body.
Some of my clothes were unstylish.
A small percentage were ripped.
While doing this exercise, I started to mentally process 2025.
There were so many lessons.
However, they stemmed from the same pattern:
Too many thoughts and not enough clarity.
The mental clutter started with insufficient prioritization.
It spiraled with certain mental keywords.
It ended with limited beliefs.
Because I cleared the physical and mental space, I am able to create.

I have two questions for you.
1. What do you want to do with your time?
2. What’s stopping you?
Let’s create the world we want to see.
I’m grateful for you reading.
